Obituary
Dorothy Marie Shouldice (Rowlings) passed away peacefully at the age of 103 at Central Place on the evening of April 23, 2021. Much loved wife of Jim (deceased 1997). Loving mother of her children Scott: deceased, (Shirley) and John Drew (Sharon). Grandmother to Sharlene, Stephanie, Kristy and Jenny and great-grandmother to their children. Missed and loved by many nieces and nephews. Greatly missed by her best friend and birthday celebrator, Ruth Gibson.
A nursing graduate from 1939, Dorothy enjoyed a long and varied nursing career. Her artistic talents were many including china painting, rug hooking and quilt making. Friend to many, Dorothy had a unique zest for life, travel, bridge and good food.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank Central Place for their caring and excellent service to Dorothy during her stay there. Special thanks to Dr. Cam Tweedie for his care of Dorothy.
It was Dorothy's wish to have a private family funeral service followed by burial in Lions Head cemetery.
